Ghent's Easter festival is one of Europe's best-kept rugby secrets: a proper continental weekend in the historic Flemish city, an easy hop from the UK.
Teams stay together, eat together and play a full international card over the Easter weekend — with Bruges and Brussels close enough for a squad day out.

THE FORMAT
HOW THE RUGBY
WORKS
Ghent is a one-day tournament over the Easter weekend, and the day ends with a prize ceremony.
There are two boys' youth competitions, both full 15-a-side: Under 16/Under 17 and Under 18/Under 19. A veterans' tournament runs on the same day.
Age groups go by date of birth rather than school year, so we check your squad against the cut-offs with you before you enter.

The rugby is only half the weekend. The whole tour stays together on park — and once the boots come off, the evenings take over: fancy dress, karaoke, live entertainment and a dance floor full of teammates and parents. It's the part of the festival nobody plans for and nobody forgets.
