2026 / 2027 SEASON
Mini & Junior Rugby Festivals
Every festival here is a full weekend away for your club: fixtures, somewhere good to stay, one share link for the parents and a named tour manager who handles the lot. Some are on the doorstep, some are across the water, and every one is booked the same way.

EVERY FESTIVAL, IN DATE ORDER
HOW IT WORKS
What happens at a Revel festival weekend?
GETTING THERE
Make your own way, or let us arrange it. Depending on the festival, that can be a coach from home, a ferry crossing, pickups from the airport and every transfer to the ground during the stay. Each festival's page sets out what its package includes.
WHERE YOU STAY
Holiday parks, lodges, apartments or hotels, depending on the festival. Families choose where they stay, so the club can stay together and the budget still works for everyone.
THE RUGBY
A fixture programme against sides in your age category, with the whole weekend built around it. Every festival sets its own format: how many matches, how the finals work and how the age groups are split. Tell us your age group and we will tell you how it is filling up.
ALL HANDLED
Entry, accommodation and the booking itself come as one package. Families pay through one share link, and we chase the balances so the organiser doesn't have to.

THE WHOLE CLUBON TOUR
UNDER 7 UPWARDS
WHO PLAYS, AND
HOW HARD
Which age groups play, and is it competitive?
The calendar runs from Under 7 upwards, and each festival sets its own age groups. Some run minis through to Under 16, others are built for older youth sides. The exact range is on each festival's page, and girls-only categories at selected festivals are set out on the girls rugby page.
At most festivals the day-one groups are drawn at random, so your teams meet clubs they have never played. By day two, teams are playing sides of a similar standard, which keeps the later games close. Each festival's page sets out its exact format for your age group.

PLAYING FOR THE GAME
Some age groups are non-competitive, usually the youngest: no tables, no knockout, simply playing rugby and enjoying it. Squad sizes and playing time follow the age-grade rules of the country you're playing in.
PLAYING TO WIN
Further up, it gets competitive. How the competition works (pools, play-offs, finals and what's up for grabs) is set by each festival and published on its page, so your coaches know exactly what they're preparing for.

WHAT THE PACKAGE
COVERS
What's included when you book a festival?
Every festival package includes team entry, all your scheduled matches and accommodation from the options on that festival's page. Some packages go further, with transfers, travel or meals, and medals and trophies vary by festival. Each festival's page lists exactly what's in.
From the moment you enquire you have a named Revel tour manager who walks the organiser through the booking — not a shared inbox. Anything that isn't in the package can usually be added, such as a stadium day, surf lessons or go-karts. Tell us what the squad is into and we price it in.
IN THE UK
COAST, GORGE AND MOUNTAIN
Where are the UK festivals in 2027?

Devon
On the North Devon coast over the Easter holidays. Pool games in the morning, then the beach and the surf in the afternoon.
North Wales
The newest weekend on the calendar. Coastal pitches, with the mountains behind them.
Cheddar
The adventure festival: a day of rugby at the foot of the gorge, with caving, climbing and gorge walks around it.
Somerset
The classic, and the biggest of the May festivals. Expect a touchline three-deep by Sunday.
Cheshire
Ellesmere Port, drawing clubs from Lancashire, Yorkshire, Merseyside and North Wales. Chester, Chester Zoo and professional rugby at Sale Sharks and the Super League clubs are close enough for a day out.
Whitsun
Rugby league over the bank holiday weekend on the North Wales coast. Two days of rugby, with time either side.
Each festival's page carries its own live dates, age groups, format and from-price per person.

THE NEXT STEP
TAKE THE CLUB
ABROAD
Can we take the club abroad instead?
Yes. For many clubs a festival abroad is the natural next step after a couple of UK weekends. Hilversum in the Netherlands and Ghent in Belgium over Easter, and the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival on the Lisbon coast, put your squad up against sides from across Europe. Entry and accommodation come as one booking, with travel and transfers arranged around them, and each festival's page sets out exactly what the package includes.
If your squad wants fixtures rather than a festival — Biarritz, Cork, Barcelona, Japan — that is a rugby tour, and it lives on the tours page.
OFF THE ORGANISER
NO CLUB BANK
ACCOUNT
How does the club pay for it?

This is usually the part that stops a tour, so we took it off the organiser. Your quote becomes one share link. Put it in the parents' group chat and every family books their own places, picks their own accommodation and pays Revel directly. No club bank account, no cash at training, no rooming spreadsheet.
A deposit secures the weekend and families pay the rest in instalments, with the balance landing before the tour. We send the reminders, not you, and your organiser dashboard shows who has booked, who has paid and where everyone is staying. There is financial protection on every booking.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
What is a mini and junior rugby festival?
It is a weekend away for your club's mini and junior sections, built around a tournament: a fixture programme against teams in your age category, with somewhere for players and families to stay. Each festival sets its own format, including the number of matches and how the finals are decided, and publishes it on its festival page.
Which age groups can enter a Revel rugby festival?
The calendar runs from Under 7 upwards. Each festival sets its own age groups, from minis through to older youth sides, and lists them on its festival page. Selected festivals also run girls-only categories, set out on the girls rugby page.
Do the minis play competitive rugby?
Usually not. At most festivals the youngest age groups play non-competitive festival rugby under age-grade rules, and competition builds in the older groups. Each festival's page sets out its age groups and which play for silverware.
Does every player get a medal?
Medals and trophies are set by each festival, and each festival's page lists what's awarded in your age group. If it matters to your squad, ask your tour manager before you book.
Can parents and younger siblings come to a rugby festival?
Yes. Families book their own places on the same share link as the players, choosing from the accommodation on each festival's page, so parents and younger siblings can make a holiday of it.
How much does a rugby festival weekend cost?
Prices are per person and vary by festival and by the accommodation each family chooses, so every festival page shows a live from-price. A deposit secures the place; the balance is paid in instalments before the tour.
How do we check availability for our club?
Use the instant quote where your festival offers one, or send us your club and numbers and we come back within one working day with dates, availability and a price. Phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
