THE WEEKEND
Revel Rugby North Wales takes the Revel weekend to the Welsh coast: festival rugby by the sea, castles on the horizon and a rugby culture that needs no introduction.
It's the same formula clubs trust — full fixture cards, family accommodation on park, evening entertainment — in a part of the world built for touring sides.
The whole club stays together at Talacre Beach Resort, by the dunes — the pool, the evenings and the beach on the doorstep. Places on the park are limited, so the clubs that book first get the pick of the lodges.

THE FORMAT
HOW THE RUGBY
WORKS
North Wales is played over two days in the Easter school holidays, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 April 2027. Day one is a group format, and each team usually plays three to four matches; the exact format is set once entries close, so every team gets the best schedule. Matches are staggered across age groups so teams spend less time waiting and more time playing - squads typically play either in the morning or the afternoon, leaving the rest of the day free for the park, the pool and the beach.
Boys' age groups run from Under 7 to Under 16, and there are girls' sections at Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16. Up to Under 11 the rugby is non-competitive, with medals for every player.
From Under 12 upwards, boys' and girls' sections alike, day two follows a similar staggered schedule with fixtures based on the previous day's results. Top-performing teams compete for the Revel Cup, middle-ranked teams for the Revel Challenge Cup, and lower-ranking teams for the Revel Shield, and larger age groups can have extra categories. Every team plays on both days against opposition of a similar standard, with medals for all finalists and trophies for the winners of each final.
Each age group has its presentation as soon as its rugby finishes, so nobody is left waiting around for the end of the day.
