Whitsun is the bank holiday one: three nights on the North Wales coast, two days of rugby league and time either side, built for clubs who want the full tour experience without leaving the country.
A festival card across the weekend, holiday-park accommodation for the whole club, and enough downtime for the beach, the pool and everything in between.
It's the end-of-season send-off — the weekend that turns a squad into a team for next year.

THE FORMAT
HOW THE RUGBY
WORKS
Whitsun is rugby league, played on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May 2027 over the bank holiday weekend. Teams stay at Talacre Beach Resort on the North Wales coast from 28 to 31 May, so there is time either side for the pool, the beach and the park.
Under 7 to Under 11 play Primary Rugby League, the RFL's game for younger players: it is non-competitive, results are not recorded, and every player gets a medal.
From Under 12 up to Under 15 the rugby is competitive. Day one is a group format, and each team usually plays three to four matches; the exact format is set once entries close, so every team gets the best schedule. Matches are staggered across age groups so squads spend less time waiting and more time playing. Day two is based on the previous day's results: top-performing teams compete for the Revel Cup, middle-ranked teams for the Revel Challenge Cup, and lower-ranking teams for the Revel Shield, and larger age groups can have extra categories. Every team plays on both days against opposition of a similar standard, with medals for all finalists and trophies for the winners of each final.
Each age group has its presentation as soon as its rugby finishes, so nobody is left waiting around for the end of the day.
THE PARTY LIVES AT THE PARK

The rugby is only half the weekend. The whole tour stays together on park — and once the boots come off, the evenings take over: fancy dress, karaoke, live entertainment and a dance floor full of teammates and parents. It's the part of the festival nobody plans for and nobody forgets.
